Our Story
From Boston Telecommunication to Bostel
Bostel’s story began in the early 1990s when our founder, Robinson Nunez -an inventor, technologist, and entrepreneur founded Boston Telecommunication, later known as Bostel Communications.
During the early 1990s rapid growth of the telecommunications industry, Boston Telecom wasan early innovator in voice communications. The company developed some of the first Voice over IP (VoIP) and calling card technologies and was a pioneer in post-paid telephone services, helping businesses and service providers deliver more affordable and reliable communications.
